Innosuisse project ACME approved

Our proposal for a common research project with Oerlikon Metco on Predictive Maintenance from Airborne Acoustics Emissions has been approved and financed by the Swiss Innovation Agency Innosuisse.

The project ACME (Acoustics for Coating Monitoring and Evaluation) aims at predicting thermal spray coating gun state and remaining useful life from acoustic emissions using advanced artificial intelligence. We are looking forward to start this exciting collaboration with the innovation-oriented implementation partner Oerlikon Metco.

The Chair of Intelligent Maintenance Systems focuses on developing intelligent algorithms to improve performance, reliability and availability of complex industrial assets and making the maintenance more cost efficient. For more information visit our webpage
