Qin Wang of the IMS Chair succesfully defended his dissertation
We are thrilled to announce that our PhD Candidate Qin Wang successfully defended his doctoral dissertation on December 9th 2021. We would like to congratulate him warmly and wish him all the best in his academic career!
Qin Wang started his PhD at ETH Zurich in fall 2018, with the focus on Real-World Domain Adaptation with Deep Learning, under the supervision of Prof. Fink.
Prognostics and Health Management applications using Deep learning methods have been possible thanks to the digitalization of industrial assets. external pageQin’s workcall_made leveraged domain adaptation techniques and showed great potential for fault diagnosis models in different real-world scenarios with limited access to abundant labeled data
