Smart Maintenance Conference 2019

The Chair of Intelligent Maintenance Systems organized the third edition of the Smart Maintenance Conference, hosted at the ETH Zürich. This year’s edition gathered around 200 participants with diverse perspectives, from the industry and Academia, and gained a stronger international stature with participants from Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France and several other countries.

With two tracks and 19 sessions, the latest developments toward smarter maintenance processes were discussed, among others in the context of railway systems, aviation including drones, pump and marine ships. As a conclusion to the conference, four panelists shared their views with the participants on the challenges and opportunities of sharing data, models and knowledge across stakeholders.
As in the previous years, the strong interest for such discussion platform was confirmed with an attendance above expectations. The organizers would like to acknowledge one more time the sponsors for their support.
